He is only the fourth bowler to take multiple hat-tricks in Ranji history and second for Karnataka after Anil Kumble.This is only the third time a hat-trick has been taken against Mumbai with Kumar being only the sixth bowler to get three wickets off successive balls in the knockouts. He is the first captain to achieve the feat.
