Stauffer announces Deck Your House winners

first_imgThe 1st place submission was the Kennedy Family at 395 Arlington Drive in Batesville.BATESVILLE, Ind. – Batesville third grader Ryan Stauffer announced live on WRBI the winners of Batesville’s first annual Deck Your House contest.Stauffer penned a letter to the mayor proposing a citywide home holiday decorating contest that benefits the local food pantry.City officials launched the friendly competition and Stauffer was forced to top three displays from a field of twelve submissions.First place is being awarded to the Kennedy Family of 395 Arlington Drive.Second place is received by the Beckner Family of 308 Maplewood Avenue.Third place is given to Jim and Maureen Saner of 105 S. Mulberry Street.Over 400 canned goods were collected and given to the food pantry, Stauffer added.last_img read more
