One held for firing in Nihal Vihar

first_imgNew Delhi: Three persons were injured in an incessant firing by a rival group in Nihal Vihar area. Police have arrested one of the accused in the case from Dichaun Enclave area in Dwarka. Police identified the accused as Rahul alias Mota (23), a resident of Nangloi. Deputy Commissioner of Police(Dwarka) Anto Alphonse said that on the intervening night of September 7 and 8, one Deepak Mathur along with his associates Pradeep and Rahul had gone to a food stall at Ranhola Extension on main Najafgarh Road. The accused reached the spot in the black colour car and started indiscriminate firing on three men. The PCR van reached the spot immediately and injured were rushed to hospital in Mongol Puri where their condition is said to be serious, ” police said. Police claimed that the accused started private work of cable TV and fitment of CCTV cameras in the areas of Nihal Vihar and Nangloi. Soon, one Narender also joined him in partnership. Their business began to grow briskly which was taken note of by one Deepak Mathur, who is a bad character of Nihal Vihar police station. Often arguments and quarrels took place between the two groups. Assaults and counter-assaults also took place between the two groups in the past. “A few months ago, Narender was fired upon by the members of Deepak Mathur group. Narender, despite being shot in the head, survived and he vowed to avenge the attack on his life,” police said.last_img read more

The election will be held on Monday, December 3.It may be mentioned that last Thursday, the names of Hakim and Atin Ghosh were proposed as leader and deputy leader of the Trinamool Congress Municipal Party. All the 122 elected councillors of KMC supported the proposal in the meeting headed by Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee at Uttirnya, paving the way for both of them to become Mayor and Deputy Mayor respectively. Search for the “Scale Images” action, then drag and drop it into your workflow. Type in the pixel size you wish to scale all of your images to.
